Lani P.

Lani P. has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Lani began their career at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they were responsible for producing financial budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans. Lani also monitored SOX compliance for quarter-end close.

Lani then moved on to work at Thought Convergence as the Accounting/Finance Manager, overseeing the accuracy of all G/L accounts and company activities. During their time there, they assisted the organization with financial functions such as cash flow assessment, auditing, planning, budgeting, tax returns, consolidation, cost control, project control, and competitive analysis.

Lani then joined Forever 21 as a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, where they led and automated the budget process for the international division. Lani streamlined procedures to deliver updated financial projections and served as a liaison between Accounting and Store Operations.

Following that, Lani worked at REVOLVE as the Senior Manager of Demand Planning, Business Analysis, & Systems, serving as the main finance contact for various departments and a supply chain subsidiary.

Lani then joined AdSupply, Inc. as the Head of Finance, where they oversaw accounting, finance, and HR matters. Lani collaborated with Developers and Operations teams to streamline accounting reporting and create visibility into company performance.

Lani's next role was at Dr Roebuck's, where they served as the Operations (Supply Chain) + Finance Manager. Lani managed and optimized logistic operations and sales reporting, collaborating with vendors, warehouses, and customers to complete production runs and fulfill orders. Lani also designed and implemented KPI dashboards for leadership and the Sales team.

Lani then joined Imprint Projects as the Director, Finance & Accounting, responsible for implementing and optimizing all accounting and finance functions. Lani partnered with the COO to analyze advertising agency profitability and used MAQL to create real-time reports for decision-making. Lani also led the implementation of Kantata (fka Mavenlink) to increase efficiency across departments.

Lani's most recent position is at Giant Spoon, where they hold the role of Director of Finance & Operations.

Lani P. completed their Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, attending from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Lani completed their SQL Scripting Fundamentals certification from AcademyX Computer Training in July 2015. Lani obtained a certification in Finance from the American Management Association in February 2012. Lastly, in May 2018, Lani acquired a certification in Quickbooks Online from Intuit.
