Mascha Strunk (SPHR)

Mascha Strunk (SPHR) has had a varied career in the Human Resources industry, beginning in 2009 as a Freelance Recruiter. Mascha then moved on to Myriad Travel Marketing in 2010 as an Account Coordinator. In 2011, they joined TBWA\\Chiat\\Day Los Angeles as an HR Business Partner. Mascha then began freelancing in 2015 and traveled the world. Mascha also held a Senior HR Business Partner role at R/GA from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became an HR Director at Zambezi, LLC. In 2021, Mascha joined Talent Equity Alliance as a Founding Member and Mediahub Worldwide as an HR Director. Most recently, in 2022, they became the VP, People at Giant Spoon.

Mascha Strunk (SPHR) holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI, obtained in 2020. Mascha also holds a Master of Arts in Learning & Organizational Development from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Organizational Sociology with minors in Psychology and Japanese from the University of Hamburg between 2001 and 2006. In 2009, they also obtained a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of California, Los Angeles.
