Simon Weald

Simon Weald is a Site Reliability Engineer at Giant Swarm. Simon was previously a Back-end Developer at erento GmbH from September 2014 to January 2018 and a Drupal Developer at Commerce Guys from November 2011 to August 2014.

At erento GmbH, Simon worked on replacing the old monolithic PHP/MySQL application with a new microservice architecture, using cutting edge technologies. Simon also worked on developing Rest APIs in Go, Python, and Nginx+Lua.

At Commerce Guys, Simon was part of the Drupal Commerce editor's team and contributed to designing and realising various projects around e-commerce, such as Commerce Kickstart, Commerce So Colissimo, and Commerce Priceminister. Simon also took part in the development of customer’s projects, such as erento GmbH and Livre de poche.
