Russell Bershad

Russell Bershad has extensive experience in the field of commercial real estate law. Russell has held the position of Director, head of the transactional real estate practice at Gibbons PC since 1982. In this role, they have focused on sophisticated conveyancing, leasing and financing transactions, joint ventures, condominiums, and redevelopment projects, as well as tax abatements. Bershad has also served as the immediate Past Chair of the Department, leading it for over 15 years.

Russell Bershad completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1973. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Rutgers University School of Law from 1973 to 1976. Subsequently, Russell went back to Rutgers University School of Law to further their education in Law (field of study unspecified).
