James Lange is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management and training within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Manager of the Operations Management System at Gibson Energy since December 2019, James leads the development and implementation of the company's OMS and chairs the OMS Steering Committee to foster continuous improvement and achieve strategic objectives. Prior to this, James held various roles at Husky Energy, including Sr Management System Advisor, Training Specialist, Operations Trainer, and Operator, where responsibilities ranged from auditing programs to managing training for over 1,100 employees across multiple sites. James also has a strong background in education, having served as an instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and University of Western Ontario, and as an ESL teacher. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in English from Western University, a Gas Process Operations Certificate from SAIT, and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Alberta.
