Georgios Tsapouris has a strong background in investment analysis and strategy. Georgios began their career as an Economist at LSC in 2006 before moving on to work as a Credit Analyst at Markit Group Ltd in 2007. From 2007 to 2014, Georgios held various roles at Coutts, including Investment Strategist and Investment Analyst. During this time, they focused on European rates and conducted econometric modeling to generate investment strategies. In 2014, Georgios joined GIC as an Investment Analyst, where they progressed to Senior Vice President and Managing Director. Their responsibilities at GIC included generating trade ideas in European rates and FX, conducting deep-country research in the Eurozone, the Nordics, and the UK, and analyzing variables such as duration, curve, inflation, and money markets.
Georgios Tsapouris completed their education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in 2006, earning an MSc in Economics & Finance. Prior to that, they attended the University of Piraeus from 2001 to 2005, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Finance. Georgios also obtained a CFA certification from the CFA Institute in 2011.
