Loretta Lau

Loretta Lau, CGMA, has over 19 years of work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Currently, they are an SVP and the Head of Investment Services (Infrastructure) at GIC, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at UBS from 2005 to 2022, holding positions such as Executive Director, Head of Platform Oversight APAC/Head of Operating Office SG, and Head of EMEA Central Sales Management/Global Sales Manager. Before joining UBS, they worked at TD Bank Financial Group as an Intermediate Financial Analyst (Team Lead) in Financial Control from 2003 to 2005.

Loretta Lau, CGMA, has an extensive education history. Loretta obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they received a Master of Industrial Relations with a specialization in Organizational Behaviour from the University of Toronto in 2003. Loretta also holds an Honour Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, which they completed between 1999 and 2002. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including a Certificate in Climate and Investing from CFA UK (2023), completion of the Oxford Private Markets Investments Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (2023), the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate from the CAIA Association (2022), Sustainable Finance training from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) (2021), and the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - Canada (2014).
