Taran Khera

Taran Khera serves as the Managing Director and Head of the Data Strategy Group at GIC, where efforts focus on enhancing enterprise-wide initiatives related to data and analytics solutions while promoting the use of AI and Machine Learning across investments. Prior to GIC, Taran held various leadership roles at Bloomberg LP from 2004 to 2021, including Global Head of Data Content, Acquisition & Exchanges, where Taran drove global data strategy and managed teams specializing in market data acquisition and business intelligence. Taran’s extensive experience also includes regional sales management across multiple Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern markets. Taran holds an MSc in Operational Research and Management Sciences from Aston University and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, with additional studies at Monash University in Mathematics and Computer Science.
