Derek Saenz

Derek Saenz's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Campaign Success Manager at GiddyUp, where they oversee high-scale advertising and sales for e-commerce brands. Derek joined the company in October 2020.

Prior to their current position, Saenz worked at Viking Cruises from March 2018 to October 2020. Derek initially served as a Web Chat Travel Consultant, providing customer service for the company's clients. Derek later became a Web Chat Service Supervisor, leading a team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

In 2017, Saenz held a role as an Onboarding Administrator at Hudson & Marshall, where they assisted in facilitating real estate auctions using Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.

Before that, they worked as a Data Processor at Conduent from July 2016 to December 2017.

Saenz began their career in the ministry sector, serving as the Pastor of Student Ministries at Sierra Bible Church from August 2014 to January 2016. In this role, they led and developed leaders for ministries targeted towards 7th to 12th graders.

Prior to their role at Sierra Bible Church, Saenz worked as a Youth Pastor at Moorpark Presbyterian Church from January 2009 to June 2012. Here, they focused on equipping leaders and parents to interact effectively with teenagers and implemented initiatives to achieve growth in the youth ministry.

Derek Saenz has a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in Pastoral Studies from Biola University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended California State University, Northridge, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Religious Studies. In addition to their educational background, Derek also holds certifications in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot, which they obtained in December 2016, and as an Accident and Health Agent and Life-Only Agent from the California Department of Insurance, which they acquired in April 2016.
