Marcin Opoka

Marcin Opoka is an accomplished legal and capital markets expert with extensive experience in financial services, particularly in the realm of blockchain and digital finance. Currently serving as the Acting Head of the Private Market Department at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Marcin leads the Warsaw Integrated Digital Exchange (WIDE) project, focusing on the development of a blockchain-based ecosystem for individual investors and SMEs. Previous roles include significant contributions at the European Central Bank as a Legal Counsel and involvement in capital markets development through legal research and advisory services. Marcin has also worked as a Business Process Consultant at 10Clouds, providing expert guidance to financial institutions and FinTechs, and holds multiple degrees including a PhD in Law from the University of Wroclaw.
