Woody Dixon

Woody Dixon has over a decade of experience in various roles within the outdoor, retail, and technology industries. Woody is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Gierd, where they oversee operations and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations and Director of Strategic Growth at the same company. Before joining Gierd, Woody worked at Kochava, where they held the position of Enterprise Client Success Manager. In this role, they managed relationships with enterprise clients in the gaming, retail, finance, and entertainment sectors. Woody played a key role in onboarding a leading retailer in North America and successfully launching their mobile app. Earlier in their career, Woody was the General Manager of a niche specialty outdoor brand, where they significantly grew revenue and scaled the business. Woody also worked as a Marketing Manager at Mountain Equipment, contributing to the successful launch of the brand in the USA. Additionally, Woody has experience as a Ski Instructor at Stevens Pass Mountain Resort and as a Technical Representative for various ski and outdoor brands, where they provided support and training to specialty retailers.

Woody Dixon began their education in the field of Computer Science by completing a SQL Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in IT Management from Western Governors University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, Woody is also a certified onboarding partner for Linnworks, although the exact timeframe of this certification is not provided. Prior to these qualifications, Woody obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Skagit Valley College.
