Chandan Vijay

Chandan Vijay has over 14 years of experience in quality management, with significant expertise in the banking and security printing industries. Chandan started their career in 2006 as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd, where they were responsible for ensuring quality standards in automotive manufacturing. In 2008, they joined United Security as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, where they played a crucial role in setting up new plants and implementing ISO standards. In 2010, Chandan joined Giesecke+Devrient as a Manager of Quality, focusing on the supply of smart cards for the banking sector. Chandan successfully set up new plants, implemented ISO and card association guidelines, and played a key role in increasing revenue and profit for the organization. Chandan was promoted to Senior Quality Manager and then Head of Quality, where they continued to represent the Indian subsidiary on a global level, conducted quality trainings and audits, and facilitated improvement projects. Chandan received multiple accolades for their work, including a Quality Award in Germany.

Chandan Vijay completed an MS in Quality Management Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2010-2012. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Motivational Pathway during 2002-2006. Chandan also completed 10+2 education from RMR(+2) in 1999-2001 and 10th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in 1994-1999. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as Environmental Management System, ISO, Lean Six Sigma, and Quality Management Systems.
