Christian Legl

Christian Legl is an experienced leader in research and development and technology within the currency management solutions sector, currently serving as Head of RnD and Technology at Giesecke+Devrient since December 2008. In this role, Christian oversees global R&D across multiple sites in Germany, India, and Canada, alongside product management for G+D Currency Technology, focusing on innovations in the cash cycle. Prior positions include Head of Business Line Management for High-Speed Systems and Head of Program Management at Giesecke+Devrient. Christian also has experience in program management at Nokia Siemens Network from 2007 to 2008. Academic qualifications include a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
