Sanjiv Patankar

Sanjiv Patankar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, product management, and emerging technologies. Currently serving as Senior Director & Global Head of R&D (Digital Solutions) at Giesecke+Devrient since September 2018, Sanjiv previously held key positions at Ericsson Global Services India Ltd, Vodafone Group, and Ericsson, among others, where responsibilities included product development, customer engagement, and overall P&L management. Sanjiv's career began at KPIT Cummins as a Systems Engineer, and over the years has progressed through various roles, showcasing a strong background in technology and business. Academically, Sanjiv holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
