Deeple Patel is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and development roles across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering (Commerce) at giffgaff since May 2018, Deeple previously held the position of Principal Engineer. Prior to giffgaff, experience at Tesco PLC as a Software Development Engineer and Goldman Sachs involved roles as a Senior Developer in Asset Management Technology and Senior Software Developer in Equities, with a tenure that spanned from 2009 to 2016. Earlier career stages included a position as Java Developer/Technical Team Lead at UBS Investment Bank, where responsibilities included leading development teams and overseeing web application projects, and as an Application Developer at Jane's Information Group from 2004 to 2006.
