Erin E.

Erin E. is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a State and Federal Policy Attorney at GIFFORDS since May 2023. Prior to this role, Erin held the position of Interim Vice President for Public Policy at the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network from October 2020 to May 2023, also functioning as Senior Legislative Policy Counsel within that time. From October 2012 to October 2020, Erin served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney at the Alexandria Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, with responsibilities focusing on prosecuting violent crimes and sexual assault cases. Erin's legal career began with internships at the City of Richmond and Arlington County Commonwealth's Attorney's Offices, as well as a law clerk position at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland. Erin holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
