Joe Platte

Joe Platte is an experienced professional currently serving as the State Legislative Manager at Giffords since November 2022. Previously, Joe held the position of Policy Associate at Dewey Square Group, where responsibilities included supporting state and local public affairs initiatives within the technology and telecommunications team. Joe's diverse experience encompasses managing special projects at DLM Strategies, where fundraising strategies were developed and adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as engaging in solar policy and media updates at BlueWave Solar. Joe's background also includes contributions to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center as a Solar Incentive Fellow and leading student organizing efforts for Hillary For America at the University of Denver. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Northeastern University and has a strong foundational education from Phillips Exeter Academy.
