Antonio di Carlo

Antonio di Carlo, MD, CM, MBA, FRCSC, FACS is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Professor and Chief of Abdominal Organ Transplantation at Temple Health since June 2020. In this role, Antonio is also the Chair of the Transfusion Committee and serves on various committees including the Peer Review Committee and the OR Executive Committee. As a member of the Liver Review Board and the Pancreas Committee with the United Network for Organ Sharing, Antonio has contributed to important advancements in transplantation and immunosuppression. Antonio's extensive background includes leadership positions and consultancy roles in several organizations related to transplantation, along with a robust educational foundation that includes multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, such as McGill University and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Currently enrolled in an MBA program at Temple University, Antonio continues to enhance expertise in health care administration and management.
