Karin Cornish is the vice president of human resources and administrative services for Gift of Life Donor Program, having joined the organization in January 2022. Ms. Cornish uses her extensive business and human resources expertise to advance the mission of organ and tissue donation and transplantation by supporting Gift of Life’s 275 employees.
Ms. Cornish brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources to her role. Prior to joining Gift of Life, Ms. Cornish was the senior director of human resources for Project HOME where she led a five-member team of human resources professionals in areas including talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, corporate training, and performance management. She is well-versed in change management, succession planning, and increasing employee engagement, and has an eye for detail in all she does.
Ms. Cornish holds a Juris Doctorate from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, where she was active in the Moot Court Society and Black Law Students Association. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. Ms. Cornish is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
