Cecelia Hillgren has a wide range of work experience spanning from 2009 to 2021. Cecelia began their career in 2009 as a School Mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, followed by a Sales Associate position at Allure Boutique. In 2010, they took on an internship as a Sales and Marketing Intern for Ardistia Fashion Company. In 2011, they volunteered as a Speech and Language Pathology Volunteer for the University of Michigan Health System. In 2012, they worked as an Event Planner/Career Advisor for The Career Center at the University of Michigan. In 2013, they began their career in hospitality as a Reservation Sales Agent for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The following year, they were a Conference Services Manager for Mondrian Hotel. From 2015 to 2020, they held various roles at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, including Director of Business Development, Business Travel & Leisure Segment, Associate Director, Special Event Sales, and Catering Sales Manager. In 2021, they became the Director of Sales for Gifts for Good.

Cecelia Hillgren attended the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications Studies and Art Theirtory. In 2011, they participated in the Michigan Art Theirtory in Paris Program at the Institute Catholique de Paris. In 2020, they completed a Digital Marketing Bootcamp at UC Irvine.
