Tom Lindma

Head of Operations and Strategy at GIG Car Share

Tom Lindma has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tom started their career at SEB, a leading Scandinavian bank, where they worked their way up to become the Head of Online and Mobile Products. In this role, they supervised the implementation of online and mobile banking services and led a team to introduce innovative products in the region.

Afterwards, Tom founded their own consulting company, Einstein Ltd, where they collaborated with major mobile carriers to increase their online sales channel.

Tom then joined Intuit as an MBA Product Manager Intern, where they integrated GoPayment and Quickbooks Online into one offering and developed a product roadmap based on user needs.

Tom then worked as a Product Marketing Manager at ElasticBox, creating marketing collateral and providing competitive intelligence to increase sales.

Next, they joined Bosch as part of their Strategic Partnerships team, where they formed partnerships with technology and content providers for connected mobility platforms. Tom also negotiated agreements with content providers for Jaguar Land Rover's InControl Apps Infotainment System.

Tom then moved to UC Berkeley as a Visiting Industry Fellow, where they developed partnerships between industry and the university and supported student and research projects with Bosch networks.

Before their current role, Tom worked at A3Ventures as the Head of Operations and Strategy for Mobility Ventures. Tom developed an operations function to support a $30M venture and established a pricing strategy for a portfolio company.

Currently, they work at GIG Car Share as the Head of Operations and Strategy, overseeing the company's operations and strategy.

Tom Lindma received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management. Tom attended the school from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Tallinn University of Technology, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.
