Jamal Hassan

Jamal Hassan has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Jamal currently holds the position of Director of Commercial Lines at GIG Gulf since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AXA Gulf, where they held various roles including Director, Country Head P&C CL and Deputy Director of P&C Commercial Lines. Jamal was also the Head of P&C Commercial Lines and Senior Underwriting Manager during their tenure at AXA Gulf. Before AXA, Jamal worked as Deputy General Manager at gig Insurance - Egypt and as a Technical Manager at Asia Insurance Company. Jamal started their career at Allianz as an Assistant Underwriting Manager and also worked as a Non-Marine Underwriter at gig Insurance - Egypt. Jamal'searly experience includes working as a Risk Surveyor for the Egyptian for survey & superintending Co. (EGSSCO).

Jamal Hassan attended the Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration - Beirut Arab University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a B.Sc. degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Jamal also has additional certifications in areas such as Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption, Communication and Negotiation skills, Strategic marketing and Consumer behaviour, and Time management.
