Dignus Heijning

Dignus Heijning has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dignus started their career in 2008 at Restaurant Het Badpaviljoen as a Medewerker Bediening, Barmedewerker, and inkoop dranken. In 2010, they interned at Lloyd Hotel, where they gained experience in Front Office and Supervisor Housekeeping. Dignus then worked as an Intern at the event department of KNHB (Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond) in 2011. In 2013, Heijning served as a Student Assistent - Projectleider at ACM - Autoriteit Consument & Markt. Following that, they worked at Brunel as a Junior Specialist for a short period in 2014. Dignus also took on the role of Manager at Oesterhaven/Zeilschool de Viking, where they were responsible for daily operations and management. From 2014 to 2017, Heijning worked in various positions at queueup, including Finance assistant, Finance manager, and Projectmanager. In 2018, they joined Effectory as a Senior projectmanager. Most recently, they worked at bol.com as a Business Analyst - FinTech from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Heijning is working at GIGA Storage in the role of Business development.

Dignus Heijning began their education at Het Goese Lyceum from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained their HAVO diploma in higher general secondary education. Dignus then pursued further education at Tio Business School from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Hotel and Event Management. Dignus obtained additional certifications in Hotel and Event Management (BBA) from Hogeschool TIO in October 2012. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a part-time Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Digital Business and Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).
