Bo Gorham

Bo Gorham has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst for Diamond Multimedia and later for CyberRep. In 2003, they joined Umpqua Bank as a Network Technician, where they provided support for Windows-based clients and resolved hardware malfunctions. In 2004, Bo worked as a Cisco Phone Installer for Lexmark International, Inc. and as an On-Site Technician for Accent Systems. Bo then joined ELAN Home Systems as a Desktop Technician, where they supported Windows-based PCs and performed server maintenance. Bo also worked as a Technical Consultant for Keane, where they imaged, installed, and supported desktops and servers.

In 2008, Bo started their tenure at Commonwealth of Kentucky, initially as a Network Analyst, providing user support and supervising a team of five. Bo then served as an Information Security Analyst, where they monitored security tools and provided assistance for proof of concepts. Eventually, Bo became the Security Operations Manager, overseeing nine employees and managing various security responsibilities.

From 2016 to 2022, Bo worked at SecureWorks as a Pre-Sales Security Engineer, leveraging their technology experience to improve client security posture. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Sales Engineer at Gigamon, starting in 2022.

Bo Gorham completed their Pre-College Commonwealth Diploma in Pre-College at Scott County High School from 1990 to 1994. They have also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA A, CompTIA Security, Security +, and A+. The certifications were obtained between 1999 and 2023 from institutions such as VMware, Cloud Security Alliance, Microsoft, and CompTIA.
