Branimir Tasic

Branimir Tasic has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Branimir is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Hardware at Gigamon since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud starting from August 2020.

In their previous roles, Branimir held the position of Sr. Director of IoT Devices at Enlighted Inc from April 2021 to August 2021. Branimir also served as an Advisory Board Member at Prototype IoT from September 2020 to February 2021.

Branimir's earlier experience includes working as an Advisor in HW at Security Together from July 2016 to March 2020. Branimir held a significant role as the Director of Hardware and Platform Software Engineering at Infoblox from July 2014 to March 2020. In this capacity, they played a pivotal role in defining and executing the HW and platform SW product strategy, leading hardware, thermal, mechanical, industrial design, diagnostics SW, and platform SW teams.

Prior to this, Branimir gained valuable experience at Cisco, where they served as a Technical Leader from January 2010 to June 2014 and as a Senior Hardware Engineer from September 2001 to January 2010. Their responsibilities included designing and leading projects for VPN/IPSec and firewall service modules.

Branimir's early career involved working as a Hardware Engineer at Allegro Systems Inc. from November 2000 to September 2001 and at Celestica/IBM from July 1995 to November 2000.

Throughout their career, Branimir has demonstrated expertise in hardware engineering, product strategy, project management, and team leadership.

Branimir Tasic has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 1988, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto - New College. Branimir then pursued further education and completed a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics from the University of Toronto in 1995.

In 2001, Branimir attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied High-Speed PCB & System Design, earning a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The following year, in 2002, they pursued Digital Systems Engineering at Stanford University.

Continuing their executive education, Branimir attended the LEAD program in 2010, where they studied Community Organization and Leadership. In 2012, they returned to the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for the Center for Executive Education program, focusing on becoming an Engineer as Leader. Branimir attended the same institution in 2016 for the Center for Executive Education program, specifically the Boot Camp for Experienced Leaders.

In addition to their formal education, Branimir has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Branimir completed the Welch Way - Leadership in Action program offered by the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2018. The same year, they also earned a certificate in Business Analytics from Wharton Executive Education.
