Dejan Laketić

Dejan Laketić has a diverse work experience in the field of sales and engineering. Dejan began their career as a Sales Engineer at HKE, s.r.o. in 2001, where they supported sales of telecommunication test equipment. Dejan later worked as a Sales Application Engineer at Navtel Communications Inc., providing pre- and post-sales technical support for telecommunication test equipment. In 2007, they joined Empirix UK Limited as a Sales Engineer, where they served as a pre- and post-sales technical consultant for service quality and network assurance test and monitoring telecommunication systems and services.

In 2010, Dejan Laketić joined Gigamon as a Senior Sales Engineer and Sales Engineering Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for sales engineering, solution design, planning, dimensioning, and deployment. Dejan also provided on-site technical support for key account managers, sales representatives, and channels/distributors in EMEA.

Dejan Laketić then worked at Ixia Network Visibility Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer in 2013. Dejan joined Simac International Services in 2014 as a Consultant/SE, where they provided consulting services and served as a systems engineer.

In 2017, Dejan Laketić returned to Gigamon as a Senior Sales Engineer, a position they held until 2021. During this time, they provided sales engineering support and expertise to customers.

From 2021 to 2023, Dejan Laketić worked at vArmour as a Senior Sales Engineer. In this role, they focused on discovering and visualizing application and identity relationships in data for enterprise security.

Currently, Dejan Laketić holds the position of Regional Sales Director for the CEE region at Gigamon, starting from 2023.

Dejan Laketić began their education in 1996 at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering. Dejan completed this program in 2002, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Informatics. In 2001, Dejan also attended the Cisco Networking Academy, obtaining a Certification in Cisco Systems Networking Academy. This program focused on the field of Networking.
