Mohamed Fayaz Abdul Karim

Mohamed Fayaz Abdul Karim has extensive work experience in process improvement and quality assurance. Mohamed Fayaz currently works as a Senior Engineering Process Lead at Gigamon, where they are responsible for driving process definition, implementation, and continuous improvement. Prior to this, they worked at ZS as a Delivery Assurance Associate, providing process coaching for various project methodologies and implementing ISO 27001:2013 standards. Mohamed Fayaz also conducted weekly catch-ups with project teams to ensure compliance. Before joining ZS, Mohamed worked at NeST Information Technologies Pvt Ltd as an Engineer-QA, where they conducted audits, monitored risks, and implemented quality management systems. Mohamed Fayaz also contributed to ISO 9001:2015 certification and successfully implemented CMMI Dev 1.3 Maturity Level 5 practices. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Quality Assistant and Software Engineer Trainee, gaining experience in software quality assurance and process implementation.

Mohamed Fayaz Abdul Karim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BEng(Hons) Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton in 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of Northampton and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in IT Service Management in 2014.

Additionally, Mohamed holds several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate from PEOPLECERT. Mohamed Fayaz also achieved the ITIL® Intermediate Certificate in Service Operation from PEOPLECERT in the same year. In 2014, they obtained the PRINCE2® Registered Practitioner Certificate from PeopleCert.

Furthermore, Mohamed obtained the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification from The Chartered Quality Institute in 2017. In 2019, they acquired the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Certified CMMI Associate certification from ISACA.
