Katherine Thompson

Katherine Thompson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Brand Development Manager at Finley Golf Club at The University of North Carolina since June 2023, while also working as a Head Lacrosse Coach for ULTIMATE Girls Lacrosse since July 2023. Katherine has previously held positions including Project Manager at PLAYERSNEXT and Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the HERO'S TOURNAMENT LACROSSE CLUB INC. An accomplished student athlete at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2019 to November 2023, Katherine also contributed as a Marketing Intern at PLAYERSNEXT and volunteered with GiGi's Playhouse, fostering skill development for participants. Early experience includes food service roles at Cattail Creek Country Club and Beef Brother's Deli and Catering. Katherine is pursuing a degree at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, having completed high school at Marriotts Ridge in 2019.
