Andy Gummer has worked as a Software Engineer for a number of companies since 2015. Andy began their career at IBM Client Innovation Center, followed by Jumbo Supermarkten in 2016, where they developed hybrid software to facilitate the work of Jumbo\u2019s 60. 000 employees in 600 shops across the country. In 2017, they worked for Arcadis, IBM, and the European Commission, where they developed a platform as one of the key outputs of the \u20ac10 million Horizon 2020 project \u0301Buildings As Material Banks. In 2018, they worked for Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and HR2day. In 2021, they began working for expertlead and CarTrawler, where they developed the payment summary for their 4,000 travel partners, 2,500 transport suppliers, and almost one billion end-customers, as well as helped create the new UI Library with React & storybook. Prior to 2021, they worked for Gigster.

Andy Gummer is currently enrolled in the Open Source Society University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's Degree in International Business from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and EAE Business School in 2012-2013. From 2007-2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Johan Cruyff University, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from freeCodeCamp, HackerRank, The University of British Columbia, and Trailhead by Salesforce.
