Dorian R Kominek has over 13 years of work experience. In 2006, they founded DORI, a contemporary to Luxury jewellery and accessory brand, where they served as CEO and Designer. From 2008 to 2010, they were the CEO & Founder of Dorian Inc., a holding company for brands positioned in creative industries, as well as the Marketing & Talent Director and founder of Shift Talent Management. In 2010, they also served as the Marketing Director of The Sect. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Regional Marketing Manager of Compass Group Canada and the Territory Manager of Miele Canada in 2019. In 2020, they were the Senior Partner Manager of Tugboat Logic and in 2021, they became the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager of Clir Renewables. Currently, they are the Head Of Partnerships at Gigster.

Dorian R Kominek has a strong educational background. In 2004, they earned a BComm from the University of Calgary in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In 2009, they completed a BCom from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) in Cross Cultural Marketing. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Science - MSc in Entrepreneurship Management & Innovation from the University of Bath, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
