Omar Trejo

Omar Trejo has been working in the data and ML engineering field since 2014. Omar began their career as a Research Assistant at ITAM, where they developed software to extract, analyze, and visualize information for a variety of economics research projects. In 2014, they co-founded Datata, where they developed data platforms to help companies make better decisions with data, science, and technology. In 2016, they joined Codementor as a Data & ML Engineer, where they provided one-on-one live mentorship to help clients find developers. In 2018, they joined Gigster as a Data & ML Engineer, where they curated talent from top tech companies, start-ups, enterprises, and academia from around the world. In 2019, they joined Arc.dev as a Data & ML Engineer, where they helped to hire top remote developers. In 2021, they became the Owner of ML Labs, where they design and develops strategic technologies for data-intensive companies worldwide seeking digital transformations.

Omar Trejo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México between 2009 and 2016. In November 2021, they also obtained a Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification from Google.
