Shailesh Tainwala

Shailesh Tainwala has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. Shailesh began their career as an Associate Software Engineer at IBM India Software Labs, where they worked with Java technologies to deliver enhancements to the IBM Customer Connect web application. Shailesh then worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Misys, where they developed and delivered an integrated tool that improved the performance of code-generation by over 300%. In 2011, they joined Informatica as a Senior Software Engineer and Product Owner, where they developed a new product, PWX for Greenplum, into a revenue earner with strategic importance to the company. In 2014, they worked as a Program Manager at Mediaroom (Ericsson), where they developed a vision for and designed an extension to the company's video content delivery web application. In 2015, Shailesh was a Fellow at the DFJ / TVF Entrepreneurial Leaders Fellowship and a Product Manager at Inflection. In 2018, they became a Product & Project Manager at Gigster. In 2020, they joined Braintrust as a Product and Project Manager. Since 2016, they have also been Self-Employed as a Freelance Product & Project Manager.

Shailesh Tainwala has a diverse educational background. Shailesh attended Bishop Cotton Boys' School from 2000 to 2006, where they earned their 12th in Science and Computer. Afterwards, they attended Vellore Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011, where they earned their MS in Software Engineering. Finally, they attended Stanford University from 2013 to 2015, where they earned their MS in Management Science and Engineering.
