Somanprabhu Jeyabalan

Somanprabhu Jeyabalan has been in the tech industry since 2007. Somanprabhu began their career at Aricent as a Product Development Engineer, where they built a software package manager for Aircell Gogo inflight internet services and improved an Anritsu telecom frequency analyzer to adopt LTE ITU-T specification. In 2009, they joined Calsoft Labs as a Design and Development Engineer, where they worked on a marketing and sales analytics platform and a hardware dynamic calibration utility. In 2010, they joined Neohapsis, now part of Cisco, as a Framework Development Engineer and worked on audit automation. In 2011, they joined DXC Technology as a Consulting and Leadership Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for architecting a programmatic enterprise distributed workload orchestrator, supervised the development of the Data Lifecycle Management DevOps Platform, collaborated with Paypal data operations engineering team on data lineage and No Ops, and managed PayPal data release engineering day-to-day operations. Somanprabhu also built a self-enabled platform that deploys 450+ data artifacts daily, built a platform that hosts 15+ data elements, 95K jobs across 3 schedulers, and efficiently manages 500K daily runs, and orchestrated 20+ Integration services to improve code quality by 44% and reduce deployment time by 50%. In 2013, they became a Business, Technology, Architecture, and Sustainability Consultant for Enterprise and Government, Startups and Social Good, Preparedness and Sustainability. In 2020, they joined System Change and Enablement as a Guide, Coach, Transformation Enabler, Trusted Advisor, Mentor, and Buddy. In 2021, they joined Executive Knowledge Sharing as a Knowledge Specialist and Management Consultant. In 2022, they became a Leadership Development Program for Leadership Coaching and a STEM/ Economics/ Political Science/ Sustainability Teacher for Academic Counselor. Somanprabhu also joined Gigster as a Generalist Project Consultant.

Somanprabhu Jeyabalan has an extensive education history. Somanprabhu obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Anna University from 2002 to 2006. Before that, they obtained an ICSE (Secondary) and Tamil Nadu State Board (Higher Secondary) from Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School from 1988 to 2002, with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science.
