Allison Kent-Smith is an experienced professional with a wide range of work experience. Allison started their career in 2004 as the Senior Director of Business Development at texturemedia, an Interactive marketing and advertising agency in Boulder. In 2008, they became the Development Director/Interactive at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where they established a partnership with the University of Colorado and developed a new digital school. In 2009, they co-founded Boulder Digital Works at CU, where they established relationships with industry and community, managed sponsorships, generated PR/marketing, and recruited teaching talent. In 2010, they were the Director of Digital Development at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where they launched a "school within the agency" for both employees and clients. In 2013, they founded smith & beta, a talent development and education company. In 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Giide, a platform for creators and businesses to make and share interactive audio content. In 2018, they became a Contributor for Forbes CMO Network and a Board Member for the Marketing Department at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Finally, in 2022, they became a Member of Chief, a private network built to drive more women into positions of power and keep them there.

Allison Kent-Smith obtained their M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2002. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Product Led Growth from ProductLed.
