Medical Director, SANE Department at Gila River Health Care

Joy Martin, MSN, APRN, NP-C, SANE-A, SANE-P has been working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department since October 2018. In September 2019, they became the Medical Director of the SANE Department at Gila River Health Care.

Joy Martin completed a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a focus on Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University in 2013. Joy then pursued a Post-masters Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program at the University of Cincinnati, finishing in 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Yale University, expected to be completed in 2024.
