Amgad Abulfutouh

Amgad Abulfutouh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Global Commercial Excellence at Gilead Sciences since September 2021. In this role, Amgad drives functional excellence by implementing a commercial vision and supporting processes for global teams. Previously, Amgad held various positions at Roche from January 2005 to August 2021, including Global Strategy Training Leader and International Product Manager, where responsibilities included capability assessment, strategy development, and team alignment. Earlier career roles included positions at sanofi-aventis and in leadership within the Egyptian Federation for Scouts. Amgad holds an MBA from The University of Manchester and a BS in Pharmacy from Cairo University.
