Chung-Ming Hsieh

Chung-Ming (CM) Hsieh is a seasoned professional in the field of biotherapeutics, currently serving as Vice President of Protein Therapeutics at Gilead Sciences since February 2022. Prior to this role, Chung-Ming held the position of Executive Director in Discovery Biologics at Merck from April 2017 to February 2022. Chung-Ming’s extensive experience at AbbVie Bioresearch Center from December 2002 to April 2017 includes roles such as Research Fellow leading the biologics team for the AbbVie-Calico collaboration and various directorial positions overseeing biologic projects and antibody generation. Initial career contributions were made at Interleukin Genetics, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, culminating in a D.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Harvard and a BS in Life Sciences from National Taiwan University.
