Emily Williams

Emily Williams is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in immunology and pharmacology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Gilead Sciences since December 2022, Emily also holds the position of Head of Receptor Pharmacology at MiroBio Ltd, where leadership involves developing translational immunology packages and managing clinical trial sample processing. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at the University of Bristol, focusing on antibody drug conjugates and immune responses, and a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at LifeArc, contributing to therapeutic antibody development. Earlier experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton and a Specialist Biomedical Scientist at NHSBT highlights a strong foundation in cancer immunology. Emily holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Immunology & Immunotherapy from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University.
