Janet Dorling

Janet Dorling is a seasoned executive in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President for the Intercontinental Region and Global Patient Solutions at Gilead Sciences since May 2020. With extensive experience in commercial strategy and operations, Janet previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Strategy and Operations at Gilead. Additionally, Janet is an Advisory Board Member for the Robinson Life Science, Business, and Entrepreneurship Program at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Member of the Board of Directors at CymaBay Therapeutics. Previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Achaogen and CymaBay Therapeutics, as well as leadership positions at Roche and Genentech. Janet holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology from Duke University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
