Jared Baeten

Jared Baeten serves as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and Virology Therapeutic Area Head at Gilead Sciences, having previously held the role of Vice President for Clinical Development and Head of the HIV Franchise. At the University of Washington, Jared Baeten holds several prominent positions, including Professor in the Departments of Global Health, Medicine, and Epidemiology; Vice Dean of the School of Public Health; and Vice Chair of the Department of Global Health. Additionally, Jared Baeten completed an internship and residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a PhD in Epidemiology, both obtained from the University of Washington.
