Kenneth Caldwell

Kenneth Caldwell is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmacovigilance, currently serving as the Director of Medical Safety Sciences at Gilead Sciences since February 2016. In this role, Kenneth is accountable for signal detection, authorship of safety documents, and collaboration on safety evaluations for co-licensed products, along with leading cross-functional safety committee meetings. Prior to Gilead, Kenneth held positions such as Lead Pharmacovigilance Scientist at MedImmune, where responsibilities included authoring aggregate reports and leading signal evaluation activities, and Senior Manager of Patient Safety at Otsuka. Kenneth's early career included roles in drug safety at Forest Pharmaceuticals and other organizations. Educationally, Kenneth holds a PharmD from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine and a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
