Mukul Virmani

Mukul Virmani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, currently serving as Director of Clinical Data Science at Gilead Sciences since August 2020. Mukul has a proven track record of embedding AI into clinical trial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Previous roles include Associate Director for Enterprise Data Science at Gilead, where leadership and strategy in AI/ML were emphasized, and significant contributions as Sr. Manager in U.S. Commercial Decision Science, leading data-driven initiatives across various therapeutic areas. Additional experience spans roles at Gartner, Pitney Bowes, Evalueserve, Uptake, G4S, and Accenture, focusing on advanced analytics, marketing strategies, and data pipeline development.
