Rob Hyland

Rob Hyland is a seasoned professional in clinical development and research, currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Development at Gilead Sciences since October 2021. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Research at AlloVir for a brief period in 2021 and spent nearly a decade at Gilead Sciences in various leadership roles, including Senior Director and Director of Clinical Research. Rob's earlier experience includes positions at Pharmasset, Inc., i3 Research, and PPD, where responsibilities ranged from clinical research scientist to clinical trial manager. Rob holds a PhD in Molecular Immunology and a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, both obtained from the University of Oxford.
