Sunny Patel

Sunny Patel has extensive experience in quality management and regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry. At Gilead Sciences from October 2018 to October 2023, Sunny held positions including Global Head of Supplier Quality Management, Director of Quality Risk Management & Regulatory Intelligence, and Associate Director of Supplier Management and Audits. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Audit Manager for Product Quality at GSK from August 2012 to May 2016, and as a Consumer Safety Officer at the FDA from January 2010 to August 2012. Early career experiences include a Research Engineer position at Cook Medical Incorporated and an NSF Research Internship at Rice University. Sunny holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a degree in Business Leadership Management from the University of California, Berkeley.
