Vijay Nair

Vijay Nair currently serves as the Head of Research IT and Director of R&D IT at Gilead Sciences since March 2024. Previously, Vijay held various leadership roles at Bristol Myers Squibb from August 2019 to March 2024, including Director of R&D IT for Cell Therapy and Precision Medicine, where major initiatives included a multi-million-dollar digital innovation program and the Biomarker 360 program. Vijay's experience also encompasses senior positions at City of Hope, Everbridge, PAREXEL, Roche, and Tata Consultancy Services, spanning project management, software development, and research informatics. Educational credentials include an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
