Yingying Zheng

Yingying Zheng is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovative data solutions. As Associate Director of Data Science at Gilead Sciences from May 2020 to August 2021, Yingying led a diverse team to deliver AI-driven applications within the Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing organization. Prior to this role, Yingying served as Senior Manager of Data Science at Gilead, collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives. At Amgen from February 2014 to May 2020, Yingying focused on machine learning and natural language processing projects, including the development of an AI-enabled chatbot. Earlier positions include Senior Research Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company and Project Application Engineer at Invensys, as well as research experience at the University of Southern California. Yingying holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
