Ed Christian

Ed Christian has worked in the field of translational medicine for over 30 years. Ed began their career in 1990 at AstraZeneca, where they held the roles of Senior Principal Neuroscientist, Principal Neuroscientist, and Laboratory Director. In 2011, they moved to EMD Serono, Inc. as the Director of Electrophysiology. In 2013, they became a Translational Science Consultant at Sage Therapeutics. Ed then worked as a Consultant for FORUM Pharmaceuticals (formerly Envivo Pharmaceuticals) from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they also worked as an Independent Consultant Translational Neuroscience, exploring a CNS Based Start-Up Venture. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Consultant/Advisor in Translational Neuroscience to innovative CNS drug development companies. Ed is currently employed at Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals as a Translational Medicine Scientist.

Ed Christian obtained their PhD in Physiology/Neuroscience/Pharmacology from Wake Forest School of Medicine.
