Calum C.

Calum C. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal and commercial field, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Calum is currently serving as the Head of Energy and Partner in Corporate & Commercial at Gilson Gray LLP since 2021. Calum is also the Head of the Aberdeen Office at the same company.

In 2022, Calum C. took on the role of Vice Chair in the Legal Issues Forum at Offshore Energies UK. Prior to this, they founded and managed C&G Legal & Commercial Limited, a legal and commercial consultancy, from 2014 until 2021. At C&G, they provided support and solutions to the industry by negotiating and drafting various contracts for clients in different jurisdictions.

Calum C. began their education at Robert Gordon University in 1999, where they obtained a BA (First Class Hons) in Law and Management in 2003. Calum continued their studies at the same university, earning an LLB (Distinction) degree in Law from 2004 to 2006. During their time at Robert Gordon University, Calum was recognized for their achievements and was awarded the Sweet & Maxwell Law Prize in both 2005 and 2006. After completing their LLB, Calum pursued further education at BPP Law School in 2011, where they took the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test to specialize in Law (England & Wales).
