Joshua Axner is a seasoned technical artist and co-founder of Batara Studios, with experience in external development for technical art solutions since August 2023. As the founder of Gimbal Zen since June 2019, Joshua specializes in rigging, hair and cloth simulation, and pipeline support and consultation. Prior roles include technical artist at Blizzard Entertainment, where Joshua contributed to the World of Warcraft franchise, and character TD at Lucasfilm Animation, implementing rigging pipelines and collaborating on major projects. Additionally, Joshua has experience from Gazillion Entertainment and Vicon House of Moves, showcasing a diverse skill set in character rigging and technical support across various animation and gaming environments. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Full Sail University.
