Jon Maples

Jon Maples has held a variety of roles in the digital media and technology industry. In 1998, they began their career as a News Channel Program Manager at Netscape Communications. Jon then worked as a Content Consultant from 1999-2000, and a Senior Writer at Red Herring from 2000-2001. In 2001, they became an Editor and journalist for various publications and technical companies. From 2004-2009, Jon was the Senior Director of Music Programming at Rhapsody America and then the VP Product Management at Rhapsody International from 2009-2015. In 2015, they became the VP Product at 8tracks, and in 2016 they became the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Gimme Radio.

Jon Maples attended Carroll University from 1984 to 1988 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Journalism.
